FORT BEND ISD (December 8, 2020) – Fort Bend ISD earned a Superior rating, an A, in the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) for the 2019-20 school year. The district scored 92 points out of a possible 100 rating points, and this is FBISD's 17th Superior rating. Stephen F. Austin High School ranks #2 in Fort Bend ISD and #144 in Texas based on a current report in US News and World Report.
Strong extracurricular programs are proven to help students succeed in life by instilling a good work ethic and supplementing curriculum taught in the classroom. The Austin Playhouse is committed to not only the creative growth of young artists, but also their growth as a member of society.
Production expenses can quickly soar, therefore outside financial assistance is needed for the costs royalties, costumes, scripts, props, sets, traveling to competitions, and supplying various other production items.
