Our Mission

The primary goal of the Austin Theatre Booster Club to provide resources and support to allow our students and directors the opportunities to participate in activities and events that broaden their horizons and will benefit them in their future endeavors.

About TAP

Students spend long hours creating the wonderful programs that you see at The Austin Playhouse. You can share your talents and help them with productions in the following ways:

o   Donating and/or selling concessions during shows

o   Assisting with sets by painting / building / etc. 

o   Sewing costumes

o   Selling tickets during school lunches and on show nights 

o   Promoting The Austin Playhouse by selling ad space in our programs to local businesses

o   Spreading the word about upcoming performances on social media

​Participating in theatre as an extracurricular activity requires maintaining the same academic expectations as any other sport or fine arts program.  Theatre encourages self confidence and public speaking.  We hope you will join us during production and after the final curtain call to help all our students shine!
